On the 11th June, I defended my PhD thesis in Brussels.

Titled The Gardener Architect: designing with the emergent natures of places, it focusses on defining the principles for designing with the creative capacity of socio-ecosystems, both humans and other living beings.

I am full of gratitude for the support from my supervisors – the late Johan Verbeke & Jo Van Den Berghe – and my supervisory team – Mauro Baracco, Kester Rattenbury, Hans Leinfelder.

A special thank you for the amazing team who helped setting-up the exhibition: Robin Pembrooke, Ana Krec and Keb Garavito. You are stars.

You can download the thesis on the KU Leuven website here.
